WICHITA, Kan. — UNO's Kathie-Lee Laidley set the meet record on her way to winning the high jump at the Varsity Apartments Invitational on Saturday at Wichita State.
Laidley had a leap of 5 feet, 8 inches, as season best for the sophomore who also owns the school record (5-10).
Sami Spenner took second in the triple jump on a tiebreaker after a jump of 39-6. Amanda Vorthman was second in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:00.93, just 1.6 seconds behind winner Emily Koenig of Texas-Arlington.
