Creighton pitcher Ty Blach was named to the Louisville Slugger Preseason All-America third team on Tuesday.
Blach, a junior left-hander from Centennial, Colo., was also named to the NCBWA’s preseason All-America second team last week.
Last season, Blach finished with a 10-3 record, a 2.65 ERA and 100 strikeouts.
Creighton opens the 2012 season Feb. 17 with a three-game series at Central Arkansas.
