Hurley advances to Q school

NEBRASKA CITY — A final-round 75 Friday was the worst of the tournament for O'Neill's John Hurley, but the rookie pro advanced to the first stage of the PGA Tour's Q School qualifying series.

Hurley tied for 24th in the ArborLinks pre-qualifier. Also making it through was former Husker golfer Ryan Lenihan.

John Hahn of Las Vegas was medalist with an 8-under-par 208. Hurley and Lenihan finished at 220.
