Miracle Hill teaching pro Jon Petersen defeated Lincoln’s Jim White on the third extra hole Wednesday at Oak Hills to win the Nebraska PGA’s Callaway Golf Match Play Championship.
In the semifinals, Petersen defeated Nick Wanderscheid of Sioux City, Iowa, 4 and 3. White defeated Pete Hagen of Sunset Valley 2 and 1. Wanderscheid defeated Hagan 5 and 4 in the third-place match.
