Noticed: Knits, wide belts, patchwork patterns, knee-high leggings, knickers, formal gloves, earth tones, capes, faux fur, feathers on just about everything from hair accessories to an entire miniskirt made from the fluffy material. Designer Olajide Cooper and Rare Salon put on a wild show, with braided hair attached to some dresses and some outrageous hair designs.

Overheard: "I like the elegant look. But wow," Dorothee Wheeler said when models from designer Terri Jen Buckner's Nuevintage Apparel & Accessories line started walking. "Look at that wild, animal look." Wheeler is the president of Sophisticated Hearts of Omaha, a nonprofit that helps senior citizens and young people in need.

Watch for tomorrow: Bridal designer Megan Hunt (aka Princess Lasertron), will liven the runway with her A-line silhouettes and hip-hugging pieces. She says her inspiration for the line "was the thought of being a little girl and growing to be the woman you always wanted to be when you were little."
