What is it?
A six-day celebration of local designers, hairstylists and leggy models that starts Monday at Nomad Lounge in the Old Market. It'll showcase the work of 40 Nebraska designers from prêt-à-porter knits to evening gowns and swimwear.
The main attraction is Saturday's Runway Finale, an 8 p.m. catwalk show just outside the lounge. A 350-foot-long platform will be set up along Jones Street between Ninth and 11th Streets.

Monday (Opening Night)

6 p.m. cocktail reception; 8 p.m. runway show; 10 p.m. dance party

Aug. 25
6 p.m. Women's Fund of Omaha fundraiser; 8 p.m. runway show

6 p.m. cocktail reception; 8 p.m. runway show; 10 p.m. VIP social

Where can I get tickets?
Tickets for entry to Fashion Week events (Monday through Aug. 26) can be purchased at the door. Tickets: $15 general admission (standing room only); $25 reserved seating; $50 VIP seating (includes runway-side seating in the first two rows and 6 p.m. pre-show cocktail party.)
Tickets for the Aug. 27 Runway Finale can be purchased online at OmahaFashionWeek.com. Tickets: $25 (standing room only); $30 to $60 reserved seating (price depends on the row); $120 VIP seating.
What does the VIP ticket include?
VIP ticketholders receive exclusive reserved seating at a VIP table, a swag bag, the option of valet service and a 6 p.m. VIP-only pre-party at Nomad Lounge. VIP tables of 10 are $1,000 and include all of the VIP benefits, plus bottle service. Full table reservations will also receive special locations and access.
Is this a 21-and-older event?
Weekday events take place inside Nomad Lounge and are for those of drinking age. The Runway Finale is an all-ages event.
Where can I find parking?
Anywhere downtown where you can find a spot. Happy hunting.
What's the dress code?
Most people dress to the nines for such an event. Think red-carpet glamour. A few people have worn T-shirts and jeans. And the only way to pull that off is if you're so boho- and indie-chic it really wouldn't matter what you wore.
